New Book Releasing June 4, 2019!

I just can't get enough of summer. But with this summer ending, I'm already thinking about next year, when the weather gets warm. Haha! Yay sweat!

Actually, no, I'm thinking about June of 2019 because my new book from Sourcebooks, THAT NIGHT, is releasing then. If you've been paying attention, I really like creepy, suspenseful Gone-Girl-esque contemporaries, and I also love horror, too. So, I've been going back and forth between the two. This book is more UNNATURAL DEEDS-like, unlike ALONE, which was straight horror. (Three guesses what kind of book my 2020 book will be, if it's lucky enough to find a publisher?)

It doesn't have a cover, yet, but here is a little blurb for THAT NIGHT:

Some secrets are best left buried…

Hailey knows her boyfriend Declan’s death wasn’t a suicide, even if that’s what everyone else thinks. The problem is that Hailey can’t remember what happened the night he died, and she’s desperate to find out the truth.

Kane, Declan’s stepbrother and Hailey’s best friend, insists they should all move on—why relive the pain? But Hailey needs to find out what happened, and she’ll figure it out herself if Kane won’t help. So she keeps searching for answers, throwing herself into memories her subconscious tried to make her forget…and the deeper she looks, the more she remembers.

But the truths she uncovers will be more dangerous and more devastating than she could have ever imagined.

Exciting News!

I have exciting news to share!

Many of you know that although I love writing, it has been a second career. Although I've been traditionally publishing books on a fairly steady yearly basis for nearly the past 10 years, traditional publishing is NOT a steady paycheck. Thus, I've always worked full-time in my marketing career, writing on the side (mostly nights and weekends).

I began ghostwriting for others a couple years ago. While not for everyone, ghostwriting works for me because 1) I love to write, but I hate to toot my own horn and market myself, 2) I don't care if someone else takes credit for something I write, and 3) I write super-fast.

I started with a few clients who were friends, but over the past 8 months, that has just grown exponentially. I had about 10 core clients that kept coming back for book after book. In 2018 alone, I've already written 10 books. Thus, I found myself working 2 full-time jobs and basically never seeing my family. SO, I decided something had to give, and now.... (drum roll, please!)....

I AM A FULL-TIME WRITER/ GHOSTWRITER/ EDITOR/ BOOK DOCTOR!

Woo hoo!  Yes, I'm a little nervous at this point that I won't be able to continue with as much work as I have right now, but I've decided to take the leap, since writing is my passion. I love helping writers transform an idea into a real novel, or helping writers shape their books into something they can be proud of. I've worked with both new authors and USAT and NYT bestselling authors, people who have made writing their career and those who just want to get the book inside them, out... I DO NOT DISCRIMINATE!

So what does this mean for you? If you've thought about hiring a ghostwriter, editor, or writing coach, hit me up. I'm very flexible, fun to work with, and at this point, very affordable (catch me on my way up!)! And I've been told I write good (har).  Check out the ghostwriting services tab on my website and send me an email at cyn@cynbalog.com.  Though I am booked through most of the summer, now that I'm full-time I can move much faster, and I would love to put you on my calendar for my next opening!

xo,
Cyn
